Advice on Good Folding GPU's - Page 6

I've run 560Ti's non-stop for months at >80C folding and they show no signs of degradation, as well as numerous 9800GTs, a GT430, several GTS450s, and a 9600GT fanless, folding 24/7 for considerable periods of time without any problems whatsoever.

You're got more reason to be concerned about the state of your power supply being able to supply that wattage on a 24/7 basis, rather than the cards themselves giving out. They're designed to do calculations, it's why someone invented them biggrin.gif

Luckily I will have 2 Power Supplies in my system if all works well, Seasonic 650-750 For the Main system and another 750Watt Corsair for the GPU's. I am hoping that will do it smile.gif

Wow. I had no idea that you could safely run stuff at 80C all the time... I guess I'll be fine getting whatever cooler I want then. I'll be swapping the 1Kw Sasonic out of my desktop into the server to fold on and I just got a UPS today so that should help.

What 560Ti's have you been folding on?

Those temps are standard for a GPU in all honesty smile.gif

They were the Asus DirectCUII 560Tis. That cooler seems to split opinion, I really liked them, some people hate them tongue.gif
