clear cmos jumper setting

hello, the a79a-s motherboard manual has these settings for the cmos jumper. pins 1 and 2 (clear cmos) pins 2 and 3 (default) are these setting incorrect? should pins 1 and 2 be default and pins 2 and 3 be clear cmos, thank you, richard.

Usually, 1-2 are the default pins. When you want to clear the cmos, remove the pin from 1-2 and move it to 2-3. After you clear it (~10 seconds), move it back to 1-2. However, the manual usually knows what's it talking about, so I'd see if it's right by seeing if the CMOS clears on 2-3.
