Seasonic X-760 in a new build

Thread Starter
So I am building my new Ivy bridge machine with this PSU and everything seems fine there is a power light on MB but when I press either the power switch on MB or on front of the case nothing happens. So I took my old Antec earthwatts 500w PSU and connected that and I am able to boot in BIOS fine. So I think my seasonic is DOA, anyone else have any idea why it will not power on?
I have Gigabyte z77x ud5h mb.

Thanks

I also tried the power supply in my intel home server pc and it will not turn on the pc either. I guess it could be a bad cable since there is some power going into the MB since the power light on MB lights up.
