I've recently got into Battlefield 3, that I bought the day it came out -___- , and it's horrible trying to get the game running at 60fps on anything but low. I need new card to run it 60fps on high-ultra @ 1920x1080.

The budget doesn't really matter to me, I've got enough pennies for anything out there. I have no brand preference. I would like the best price-performance option.

For a single card with no dips below 60 @ ultra, I don't know that you can get by with anything less than a 680. Are you opposed to multi card setups ? Personally I've never experienced this "micro-stutter" I hear so much about. Not with 560ti sli, 6970 crossfire, or my current 580 sli setup. I don't necessarily believe that it doesn't happen, I've heard too much evidence to the contrary, but I do believe it's over exaggerated.

HD7950/GTX 680 if you want performance, HD7850 if you want best bang per buck. HD7850 CF is a beast.

But seriously for 1080p you could just get a 4GB GTX 680 when they release and you should be fine. Although personally if I could afford any GPU out there I'd also get a 1440p monitor. thumb.gif

The gtx 460 SE is a pretty bad card due to the fact that it has about half the performance of a gtx 560Ti.

You wouldve been much better off getting a gtx 460. Ideally you will want a gtx 560Ti/radeon 6950 to get close to 60fps
