not only the 15% performance gain (also the gain is much highter in some game titles that prefer Nvidia) but also very small power consumption so if he plans to SLI in future for more horsepower the NZXT 650w PSU will handle them both no problem.

What are you talking about the 7950 uses less power and is cooler. With +300w for each card on load I wouldn't recommend sli witha 650w psu. It's 130% the price with 115% better performance in most games besides BF3 (about 130%). 680 vs 7950 (Click to show)
