Here's the situation, I sold my main rig and had a cooler left over. Decided cheap thrills ftw, so put the cooler in this thermal take case. However, in a predicament as the side panel wouldn't shut because the copper tips of the Heatsink were protruding.
So I cut a hole of course....and now I'm not sure how to exactly go about it.
Below are two pics, one of the tips protruding and the other of the hole.
If I had to take a measure, it would be somewhere < 1/8" however, it is enough that if I put acrylic on the inside of the case, the side panel would not shut.
So I'm open for ideas
I was thinking of maybe cutting a hole in the acrylic around the areas where the heatsink and fan are, layer the edges so there is some height, and then slab on another piece of acrylic on top.
What do you guys think?
