An Intel i7 is the $700-900 dollar range will most likely have a real discrete GPU,that won't be bottlenecked like the Faildozer V2 powered GPU.
Looks like AMD will be losing in every area of the market, they should bail out now before the ship sinks.
Right because Llano is EOL as it is...

Brilliant.... and will go along real nice with most of the other brilliant fan boy posts.
I'm no fanboy, just a consumer of what is best at the moment. More over a well reputable tech guru. The fact of the matter giving the leaked numbers we have. Intel has nothing else to compare 4KHD to that makes it look any good. When Trinity releases the mobile chips are already set to make 4KHD look obsolete.

read the title :evolution ?or devolution?just that processor.i sure would like to know this answer also .for ib sb bd lano etc arguing i am prety sure the 20 + other thread related to it will do nicely.to answer title.devolution has happened often elsewhere in the past.often very old insanity werent doable because it couldnt be made wich today could .is it devolution when an old idea is used when it could never be used before.i say it is a form of evolution

Seriously bro,

Is there ANY chance you can take time with your posting? Nothing you've said over the last months makes sense? Your sentences are not even complete thoughts.

Secondly, the grammar, spelling, punctuation of your posts are incredible off & basically are not even legible.

Thirdly, MANY, MANY people have pointed this out to you... Yet your careless posting continues and you NEVER respond as to why...

Can you shed some light as to why you have such difficulty posting anything proper?

Apple and Intel's exclusive relationship allow them to work together in designing the motherboard for each different product. You can't find a replacement motherboard from any other company because it was specifically designed in-house. Just as they design their own Cortex processor in-house.and have it fabricated by Samsung for their phones.

The GPU in the 3770K is the same as the one in this laptop. The mobile IB actually has a higher Turbo for HD4000 making it even better.

The HD 4000 Turbo hm poor benefit from it, and what you get when you overclock this Intel GPU hm.biggrin.gifrolleyes.gif

Secondly, every post you make illustrated you have no idea what an APU is.

Thridly, why not quote me and rebuttal..?  It would be hilarious to see your responses now that we have you in a lock of logic.
Also what if the page contains flash video(ie. Youtube),GPU acceleration from a discrete GPU will load the page faster as well as play the video in higher quality than IGP.

One would argue otherwise. The iGPU generation is beyond the worry of being fast enough to load page content and stream 1080p. A GTX 690 isn't going to play HD any better then a 8800GT, nor aid in loading web pages any faster. The idea of the iGPU was to at least have a low end yet powerful graphics core built in to support the era of hardware acceleration. As everything from Windows, to Firefox, and everything in between became readily hardware accelerated. The only difference one would see is the amount of load on the hardware.

Not sure u understand APU.

An APU can cross-use resources within the chip. So when surfing and u need video acceleration, u have it full throttle. So long as the resources on the Cpu side are not pegged. Which they wouldn't for web browsing.

So all acceration needed for Flash would be within the APU, with no need for the discrete (card) to fire up. It is seamless & the whole idea behind AMD's APU (heterogeneous) chips.

I think we can sum up this 25 page thread to

If your an elitist, or intel fan boy trinity is de-evolution

If your needing a portable, cost effective solution for basic PC usage and minor gaming then its an evolution.

/thread.
