Trinity isn't on the market yet. Llano and Ivy Bridge are. Not sure how you can even try to disagree with that.

I don't dissagre, but your own statement make's most of the arguments your defending invalid was more or less my point... with out getting too technical. Hence the reference to the part in bold.

You guys are flaming hardware we don't even have proper test's for(yet, we will when its released), claiming that "intel is better" when trinity isn't about being the most powerful.... But it seems alot of the people with opinions in this thread only care about the most epic of epic mobile platform's. Where as in AMD's eyes you are the minority. This isn't a platform for those of you who are into "chasing the white horse". I fail so see how this became an e-peen matching contest with intel.

Trinity is going to be marketed to the AVERAGE user.......

That's like trying to sell some one a mustang, when what "they"(and by they I mean the bulk of the people buying the product) want a hybrid/eco friendly car..... your making an invalid argument.

When Trinity launches, it'll be time to reevaluate those claims.

Such an intelligent response.

Maybe I should have rephrased that. When the direct competitors to Llano and Trinity launch. Neither compete against the i7s (only Ivy Bridge released so far for mobile), and doesn't really compete against the top-end i5's either (none of which have been released).

I've not seen one remark about Trinity being disappointing. If there are any hidden jabs, they're incredibly mild and not worth getting your jimmies rustled over. Also, don't include me in this. I'm rather optimistic about Trinity and have barely commented on this thread.

Trying to trumpet the dominance of something (GPU performance at mainstream laptop resolution) that will likely be unseated in a couple weeks is a bit silly, but until those two weeks are up, it's all we've got.

Nvidia users got all kinds of butt hurt when the HD 7970 was getting compared against the GTX 580. If that's the best the competition's got, you can't really avoid the comparison. Unlike the 7970 vs 580 scenario though, this won't be nearly as long of a wait for the competition to have an answer.

They kind of do, actually. AMD doesn't have anything higher than Trinity/Llano in laptops. While the price difference is quite large, the A10 will be the best AMD has to fight against the i7s.

And that's just silly thinking, anyone who subscribe's to that school of thought should not be posting IMO, it falls under my quote"chasing a white horse". And yes, there are plenty of people in this thread that where compairing trinity to intel products. I suggest you re read the thread if you don't think/remember it.

Not to mention AMD said in press release's it was pulling out of the power house race, instead focusing on more efficient products for the average user.... again your argument(and the ones your defending) are invalid. Point blank if you want the most powerful of powerful computing products (witch is the small nitch community in the grand scheme of things) then go buy and intel(as has been said before in this thread.) and then go replace it every 6 months so your e-peen is left undamaged. The avrage user will buy a laptop/PC and use it until its absolute incapable of being used. They don't replace their hard ware every 6 months, and cannot afford the power house epic high end laptops.

Please stop with the petty nonsense & grow up...

Contrary to ur lies, Trinity is BUYABLE in several countries and the release is inevitable, so why bicker over a few days?

Do you really want to base an argument on semantics..? Are you that needy for attention that everything you've said, becomes pointless next week..?  R u really sticking up for him.. or are you a second account?

You're calling me a second account? Really? I explicitly stated that some of the crap he was saying was "dumb."

Also, I only debate with people that can demonstrate some basic understanding of the English language.
