You have two options,
1.Use a SB CPU then install bios update for IB (z68 extreme3 gen3 supports IB).
2. Contact Asrock's Customer Support. They should mail you the updated bios chip for your board.

"We will mail you the BIOS Chip tomorrow by USPS first class mail.

Their support is on point. 5/5

How to remove & install BIOS

491

Removing the BIOS
A BIOS chip can be removed using a small flat blade screwdriver or pocket knife. Insert the blade under one end of the chip and gently lever it until it begins to lift from the socket. Be careful to keep the angle to which it’s raised shallow or you’ll risk bending the legs of the chip. Move to the other end of the chip and lever it to the same level and then some. Repeat the process until the chip is completely released from the socket.

This picture is for demonstration only NOT actual BIOS chip
Actual BIOS chip with 8 pins (4 pins each side) as below.

Installing the BIOS

Check the two dots to match.
Please locate the BIOS chip to dot position socket and then locate same dot on the BIOS chip and insert the BIOS, push straight down.

Yes, they will supply you with the updated bios chip free of charge.
Just call customer service and tell them you need the updated bios chip for ivy bridge on the extreme3 gen3 board.
They will ask you to email your invoice or proof of purchase, then they will ask for your shipping or billing address.
Hope this helps!

Uhh if it is under Asrock's name then I would say yes. But AMD is another manufacturer, if you need an updated bios chip for one of their boards call and ask.
I thought this topic was about Asrock's Z68 Board? Also they send updated bios chips for this specific board because it is Ivy Bridge compatible.
