Flex bay mounts not lining up

Thread Starter
I recently bought a STH10 and am trying to mount an Aquaero 5 Pro using a set of short flex bay mounts. The mounts are attached to the AQ5 but the holes are not quite making to to the alignment pins. I believe the flex bay mounts are attached correctly and I was able to mount an Aquaero poweradjust bracket using the same technique.

I think I need to cut/drill out one of the alignment holes to expand it about 1/8". What is the best way to do this? Assume (correctly smile.gif ) that I do not currently have any tools that can cut or drill aluminum. Any required tools will be need to be purchased for this task.

Any drill will work on aluminum.

A picture might help us to give more constructive advise.

Hmmm.. I know we have several other customers using Aquaero products, but this is the first time I've heard of an alignment problem. A picture would really help if you can take one. Thanks

I've had similar issues with my TH10 when it comes to mounting AquaComputer AQ5 (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/images/aquacomputer/70174_01.jpg) or PA2s with the AQ mounting plate (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/images/aquacomputer/52183_01.jpg). I thought I was going to break something trying to get these plates to mount on my TH10 but I finally got them in. I believe the blame lies more with AQ than Case Labs. Also, once you get them in they don't lay flush with the front of the TH10, like other devices do, but again I believe the blame lies with AQ.

Check out the second image...
