How to find weather code, how to change RSS URL (Click to show)

Alright.

Open the bar.ini file again (right-click, click the top bold item).

Look at the variables section.

Change it to this:

Code:

To find other RSS URLs, just press the RSS button on the site you're interested in and copy the link it leads you to:

To find your Location code, Ctrl-F for "weather" in the ini file and see if the URL is weather.yahoo.com or just weather.com. Choose the appropriate section.

weather.com (Click to show)

Go to http://www.weather.com/

Search for your city and it'll show up in the URL like:

Code:

ht tp:// www. weather.com/weather/today/Tel+Aviv-Yafo + Israel+ ISXX0026

The bold is your code.

Save and enjoy.

Yahoo! weather (Click to show)

Go to http://weather.yahoo.com
Search for your town and country (ie. London, United Kingdom or New York, NY, United States)
Click on the RSS button which is to the right under the big bar.
4. Look at the URL, it should be something like:

Yes, in fact you can have it anywhere on the screen(or even off it, but that doesn't help anyone does it?). The easiest way to do it is untick the lock skin option when you right click on it(although I'm not on my computer ATM so I cannot confirm where it is or even if that's what the option is called, but it's something like that), once you untick it just drag the skin around to the desired position and optionally relock it.
