Canon 600d or Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 - Page 2

for the new video shooter you will most likely not see the difference in the video but there will be nice improvements in camera features overall that could definitely make it worthwhile

The reason why I post links to people other than myself is because independent verification of results is considered to be more convincing than a personal anecdote. For example, here is a computer hardware related analogy: which argument is more convincing?
"I recommend getting this graphics card over this one because I have one and it runs all my games great"
or "These separate websites have all found that this graphics card is measurably different and better in these particular ways"
This way, I minimize the effects of personal bias in my posts - all of the things I have said can be found on those links.

I have posted specific, measurable reasons as to why the GH2 outperforms the various Canon models in video mode and have backed them up with different websites saying the same thing. I have also posted why such concerns as sensor size and lens selection are non issues. You have not done this, but rather resorted to attacks on whatever you think my credibility and experience are.

i have not attacked you at any point. i have only questioned whether you actually know anything because you refuse to support your position.

i question why you think that pixel peeping screen shots prove the GH2 superiority and you are yet to respond.

i am yet to see a real test of dynamic range. you are yet to link that or actually address it

you never respond to how much processing GH2 footage needs and the fact that you have to "hack" it to increase the bitrate...

until you actually use knowledge of video rather than links to videos i will assume you know nothing about video and probably do not even own a GH2. until then you are free to post your links to tests that bash canon dslr for video and i will continue to post rational suggestions that actually help people asking for advice rather than saying buy this camera because look at these tests. posting a link for a person with a tight budget does not help them make the best decision possible so they can get the most out of their money.

quit crying everytime i challenge your posts and actually try to help the person starting a thread instead lol. every post you make with links shows that the GH2 is nice but doesnt help anyone make a decision of what to purchase other than that one camera. you dont make lens or accessory suggestions which are needed to put a purchase in perspective.

and yes i am calling you worthless and the least helpful person to ever respond to a person asking for advice
