even if you could somehow install the drivers they will not work because they are not compatible with windows 7.

Here's something a little better, paying a little more but if you wanna play WoW without lag I'd say get this.

Umm ... before you go running off buying a card based on one persons advice ... first off, you're going to need to determine what slot type that card is, cause it originally came in AGP, PCI, and PCI-Express 'flavors', and therefore it must be replaced with a card of the same slot type.

Can you take a good picture of the card in the PC, using a flash or bright light, so we can see the slot it's plugged in to? If the board doesn't have a PCI-Ex slot, it's seriously not worth upgrading the card because I don't think you can find a decent AGP or PCI card anymore that doesn't cost a lot more than it's worth.

Lastly, let me just say ... I literally cannot believe it's still possible to play ANY game on a 64MB video card still. Are you at like 800x600 resolution with everything on the lowest possible settings to get that to run or what?

Wait til you get a new system, you're gonna be amazed at the difference ... that card wasn't even a good gaming card in 2004 when it came out, let alone nowadays ...

True I forgot about AGP lol, I forgot how ancient this setup was. Sorry
post #20 of 26
From your dxdiag I would have to guess you have an AGP card

Googling P4M266A-8235 chipset, I see it only has agp slot.
You have a VIA CPU to AGP Controller.

Cheapest cards I could find on Newegg, that probably will work with Window 7.
Nvidia ECS N6200A-512DZ-H GeForce 6200 512MB 64-bit DDR2 AGP 8X Low Profile Ready Video Card
ATI JATON 3DForce3450-DVI Radeon HD 3450 512MB 64-bit DDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card

I would recommend to either go for a new system or if you really want to save money try to find a free or a used card.
