I've heard zbrush is great. Anyone used MudBox?

I have never used mudbox... apparently its kind of a simplified version of zbrush.

Never could really get to grips with blender, used to use 3ds Max during my time at university for the recreation of landscape scenes!

Couldn't learn how to use blender either.

I do like 3ds Max, although I am not an expert at it. I have Maya as well. For animation practices and for export to Unity, which of the two is better

Blender is really nice, it even has a portable version. I recommend installing the Dynamic Space Bar add-on and the Energy theme. The default theme is dull and unintuitive.

Maybe you guys remember it from the 2.4x days. The interface is entirely reformed now, and since the last update it even have the long-awaited support for n-gons now, among other things. smile.gif
