Adding 2nd SSD, anything preparation to do prior the hardward installation ?

Hi everyone, I've been lurking on this forum for quite sometimes, but here is my question. I just recently brought a 2nd SSD 120GB Sandisk Extreme.

My current system has 60Gb OCZ Agility 3 for Window 7 ult, and 1st gen Barracuda 7200.7 160GB HDD for apps and game.

I have just changed IDE to AHCI mode following this original guide . Thanks to OP Sean Webster.

Now I'm looking to add 2nd SSD for gaming and frequent used apps.

Beside the physical hardware works, the installation part, do i need to prepare anything before plugging in the SSD?

gigabyte z68x-ud3h-b3 + i72600k stock.

If it is just a secondary SSD there really isn't anything you need to do. Just install it, quick format it, use it as you like.
