I was part of the Gentle Typhoon AP-2150 group buy. I ordered 8 barebones fans.
A shock to many when they arrived was they had an extra wire...but no 3-pin connector on there. This was going to be extra money to put in to the fans.
In the mean time I decided I wanted to get them sleeved as well, so I looked around at pricing for material, knew MDPC-X was/is probably the most popular material to go with right now. Of course there is the buying times the shop is open, delay for shipping, then I would have to attempt to sleeve it.
I came upon Lutro0's videos which are AWESOME and very informative. Could I have done the task? Possibly but I suck at jobs like these and it would have taken quite some time to get it even decent looking.
So I asked Lutro0 if he could undertake the project of sleeving my fans in Black MDPC sleeving along with installing black 3-pin connectors.
Communication was fast, efficient, and very clear, in fact I'll admit I messed up and didn't make it clear these did not already have the 3-pin connectors on there which was my bad, either way he kept me informed and updated with any changes.
Additionally Lutro0 had his channel up so I got to watch him work on the fans live which was awesome to see.
Fans arrived after about a week and a half turn around time which I was totally ok with, he has been a busy man with his work and moving! Shipping was great as was the packaging!
Everything was bagged up in the original bags, looking absolutely incredible.
Of course no review is great without pics right? So without further ado are the pics for Lutro0's AMAZING sleeving work.
P.S. try not to mind the VERY dirty carpet and poor lighting. These were taken with my myTouch4G Slide which has an 8MP camera. Some pics have flash on and some off.
