Yes it should, as long as you have adequate cooling.

Crappy camera, but oh well. Love the board so far, still testing things and will OC everything when I get time tomorrow after my case gets here and I get everything together. ( Yes a stock cooler, won't be keeping the OC perm. just enought o play with it a bit and it's going to be an htpc/file server so it doesn't need a lot of cooling. )
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

That Noctua is a bomb and a beast, and its got what may rightly be called "the world's ugliest fans" - that brown colored fan in their lighter brown case just doesn't match up with much gear.

If you want a windowed mATX case, there is this LIAN LI PC-V600FX - now back in stock, bit pricey @ $160 - with the usual LianLi styling, but the interior is BLACK! Read the feedback, this case looks interesting as hell. LianLi doesn't make traditional mini towers, except for this model and the $100 PC-A04. Hmm, it won't support cooler over 150mm.

This case, Silverstone TJ08B-E - has become a favorite of mATX builders because of its size, its positive pressure - single 180mm Air Penetrator front fan, and its ability to handle a lot of gear crammed into it - all for $100. Its a take-a-part case, with removeable mobo tray, the top is gonna be tight where the rom and psu go, cabling will be a bit of a bear. Also, Silverstone manual will tell you to place your psu fan down if the fan is bigger than 120mm, so you lose the case's top fan port with its magnetically attached filter. Also, the front fan - there is no front door - has a filter that can be pulled out from either side of the front panel, very cool. The feet are cheap rubber glue-ons ... if you cabinet this case, you'll lose a foot or two eventually from sliding it out to get to the filter or to the case. Very innovative h/d cage with the usual anti-vibration padding, can hold 5 3.5" and 1 2.5" drives. Specs say it can handle upto 165mm tall cooler, so that works with the NH-D14.

I did 2 simple surf box builds using the TJ08B-E and its cheaper near-twin - SilverStone SST-PS07B - which has a front door, with 2 120mm fans with an easily removed filter - otherwise the same as the TJ08B-E, but the 07 comes with a 120mm rear fan. And for $79.

The Fractal Design Arc Mini is a $100 box with white metal hard drive trays, white fans, and is a winner. Supports upto 165mm cooler. I've done 2 recent surf box builds with this model, and it comes wtih 3 fans, mesh filters - which are not really removeable from their removeable panels - the top h/d cage is removeable and rotateable. Too bad that FD doesn't offer a side window, coz this is another case that looks great with a lot of gear crammed into it.

Just google up the Silverstone TJ08-B and hit images - same for the FD Arc Mini.

And here's a link to a crammed Fortress FT03B - wow !
