Gentle Typhoons worth it? - Page 4

What are you all running to push your CPUs that high? Is that daily usage or extreme OC testing? The 212+ not going to cause problems hitting 4.5-4.8 with crazy temps. @4.6GHz idle i see temps around 29C and load under 50C, running all threads/cores maxed I MIGHT hit 60C. The D14 is considered better but is also A LOT larger and might not fit with the OPs case (or even future plans).

@OP - get the 212 and see where your CPU is able to reasonable OC. If you want more out of it then upgrade.

I went with the 212+ because it does fit my case, the NZXT 410 Phantom. I would really enjoy getting to a 24/7 OC speed for 4.5 with air cooling.

You're able to get 60C at 4.6ghz OC running Linx? On a 212? Wow I'm jealous.

Gentle Typhoons AP-15 are Best fans I ever had. Between AP-15 and AP-29 I decide AP-15.
After Gentle good is Nosiblocker Multiframe.
I buy 2x for CORSAIR Hydro H700 and later I will move on H100 and buy another two.
Sometimes it's hard to find. But I love fan to do job not for decoration.
