Help with driver issues 7900gtx

Hi, I have been having some issues with my drivers. I play FEAR alot and with my system I shouldnt really have any lag, but sometimes it dropped 30fps and became a little choppy. So I decided that the drivers I had needed to be changed. So I removed them from add/remove programs, just the Nvidia display drivers, rebooted, then used Driver Cleaner Pro to get rid of the rest. Rebooted again and installed the Forceware 91.47 drivers. Now it wont even play the game. It loads up and freezes within the first 15sec of gameplay. And everytime I reboot the "Found New Hardware" alert pops up, so obviously the drivers arent working correctly with my vid. card. U can see what I have on my specs. Maybe I need different drivers or was an error during install, plz any help would be great, thanx u guys...

You downloaded the correct x64 driver right?

Also try the ForceWare 91.48 (x64) WHQL or Forceware 92.91 (x64) and see if the problem is gone.

Sometimes antivirus doesn't let your driver install properly, so turn it off and install your driver. Then turn your AV on again.

Thanx for the info. I got rid of the ones I had and tried the forceware 91.91 x64 and everthing seems to work fine. I also just got Battlefield 2142 and have everything on max setting at res. 1600x1200 and works flawlessly with no lab in fps at all. Thanx a bunch!
