The turbo state setting is in bois or Asus' AI suit?

In BIOS, if you've been overclocking from AI Suite that's your problem. Only overclock in the BIOS or you are going to have issues.

increase the problem size while decrease the clock to 4.1Ghz, now it's 94GFlops.... However, i could easily get 80C when running Linx (using CM hyper 212 plus), while running prime95, under the same config, the max is 72C(average around 68C).
(HT on, Turbo on)
BCLK: 103
CPU: 1.165
VCCSA: 0.925
CPU PLL 1.8
PCH: 1.05
Ratio 41.0

Is it a little too hot? (80C, 4.1Ghz)?

Thanks!!

How about you just stop running tests to see how many GFlops you get, which means nothing to anyone, and actually use your PC and see how fast it actually is in real world use? smile.gif

Ohh, yeah, I forgot about that, the calculations can be off with smaller problem sizes. 80c does seem a little hot with those voltsr, but again, Ivy does run very hot and we haven't seen a lot of temps on mid-range yet. I would say it's probably safe, but we can't say for sure yet, maybe try some lower volts?

I do agree with the comment about just using your PC, but I do understand you wanting to make sure it's all up to scratch, and from here it looks to be working fine! thumb.gif
