But now remember when I set it at 1.2 for 4.0 it goes up to about 1.23 or so during load. Let me reboot into stock and I'll capture a screen with min max.

I cant see you getting 4ghz on 1.2.........I'm trying to find the max for mine for a 24/7 OC. I dont want to get higher than 1.45. So far its failed 4.5ghz on 1.45 so trying 4.4 on 1.45.

Honestly...my chip performs pretty much the same either way. Base clock adjustment does improve performance a little to an extent. But with my motherboard the problem is that at certain bus speeds my RAM speed choices become 1700's and next step over 2050 which causes boot problems for some reason (I'm guessing because to go 2K + RAM speed the CPU/NB multi has to be at 10 and that puts it at 2100 plus.

Mine does the same. For some reason, i cant get my PC to boot with ram over 1333 if i go over 3.6ghz frown.gif

Currently i'm sitting on 3.6 at 1.250 volts with 1600mhz ram at 1.7 (Wouldnt boot at 1.65) I've memtested the ram numerous times and its come up clean frown.gif

There are two pictures of my chip under full load with IBT at stock and 4.0 GHz showing min max and avg V in HWMon.
