This thread makes me wish I kept my 4.8ghz Phenom 2 x6 1075T, that thing smacked Bulldozer all over the place!

Not one single phenom including the 1100T and 1600T smacked BD all over the place. And we haven't even gotten to BD's strength yet which is higher overclock.

*edit: Tally so far in 28 tests Phenom II - 15, BD 8120/8150 - 13. And in at least 4 of the wins for phenom II they don't win by very much at all. That's FAR from a "smackdown". We'll see if the tally stays like that as we progress to round 2.

That's because you ran those at 4.0 when your system was unstable. I can't mix and match results. In your case I need your highest stable speed below 4.0 and all the results at the same speed.

Okay I'll add your name to that slot for now. Keep us updated on when you can get the time to run the tests and post them. Good luck on the finals.

Phenom 2 still won, while consuming ltd power and clocking worse.

I really wish people would stop saying they're close because they're not, Phenom 2 is much faster.

And at 4.8Ghz there's not a single BD chip in here that would get any where close to my old Phenom.

Getting 4.8GHz on a 1075t also means you got one hell of a great chip. Most 1075t chips can't reach 4.8GHz.

I would've loved to have seen your 1075t at 4.8 Because i find that extremely unlikely. (Unless LN2 was used).

Otherwise, i think your blowing smoke out your ass.

On HWbot there is a whole 15 1075t's over 4500mhz..... So either provide proof. Or dont post about it at all. Pretty simple.
