Epic AMD CPU Grudge Match....AMD Slug It Out-orama 2012!! - Page 83

I'll be entering round 2 with my 1100T since I didn't see one in the OP, 4.13GHz was taking it easy, my CPU can take more but my RAM is holding me back. I'll post results later this afternoon.

I would start to look at other settings as the cause for that.

wPrime 155 wouldn't open so I can't include it.

All of the benches and stability tests for my 1100T at 4.13GHz can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/wLVLS

If the images aren't clear enough I will write out all of the results

wierdness... I reset everything to default, and then put the clock back up. now its running 4.5 again at 1.4v, and its stable (passes a couple of hours of prime95), but best of all, its with coolnquiet, c6, c1, EPU all ON, which means that when the cpu is idle it drops itself down to around 1v and 1.6ghz, which is nice. I mean its good to have the power when its needed, but also good that it doesnt sit on full throttle all the time. thumb.gif
Happy again!

The only reason we ask that those be disabled while "OCing" is so that we can eliminate those from potential problem while trying to find a stable OC. With Cool&Quiet enabled I take a slight hit when it comes to the benchmarks etc. but it's not enough to matter and it doesn't IMHO outweigh the positives of having it enabled.

will the fact that the FX8150 is NOT hot on single apps, but hot on multi-threaded apps hinder it in anyway? like in single threaded apps, will it just take longer, or you really shouldn't notice it whatsoever..

Just the FX6100 seems better value Overclocked' & going by its performance per dollar.. tongue.gif
