I totally agree man. I just don't understand why they waste money getting involved in things they can't change. The big 4 banks said 3 months ago they will no longer listen to the RBA on interest rate cuts, yet when we got the .50% cut and the banks didn't pass it on, Swan was all over the TV. He can't do a damn thing to make them pass the full .5% on. Similar story with petrol and now this.

I doubt that is the real reason though. Prices are are higher or lower because that is what people will pay for them. Or perhaps more accurately, that is what companies think people will pay for them.
