the gtx 690 is awesome but no 4gb? really nvidia?

i'd rather wait for the 4gb non-ref that are about to hit.

@OP

NV Surround with 3 x 2560x1600 is an interesting prospect. As an earlier poster points out 2GB per GPU likely won't be enough, so 4GB cards are the way to go. However, consider the fact that with 4GB cards at those kinds of resolutions you may well run out of GPU power before you run out of memory, and maybe even CPU power.

I'd consider tri-SLI with 4GB cards - what CPU and PSU are in your rig?

Mine? i still dont buy processor, but i have ordered an 2500K, 3570K is not worth at all for me, temps are pretty crazy for me, my psu is 1050W corsair.

yea your right im definately gonna wait for the 4gb to come out...i have the 2600k and a 1200w thermaltake toughpower right now for cpu and power supply

what do you think about the 2500k vs 2600k, are you usint that Hypetreading factor? i'm about to cancel 2500k for 2600k but i dont see any reason since i just want to game for a severals years more.

yea as far as gaming they pretty much the same..just the 4 extra threads which for gaming doesnt matter much...you can oc to the same..and the extra cache not big...yea i might as well got the 2500 too cause all i really do is game lol

im wondering if there could be a difference though when running 3 30 inch monitors in an sli setup when bottlenecking...see you have a qck mouse pad..just got mine yesterday and love it!

yes i have that mouse pad, is really good quality IMO but kinda boring in the design, maybe would be a good a idead grab one with a pic of black ops or something, i jumped from a standar cheap mousepad and there is a world of difference, i recommend it strongly and btw the medium size is quite big.

Yea im not sure how big of a difference..i could maybe keep my 2gb vram 680 and just keep aa disabled and use fxaa..that would keep the memory down and the frames up with that high resolution...id get another 680 of course for sli
