[Guide] Installing Linux NVidia Propriatory Drivers in Ubuntu - Page 3

I know its very un-Debian but I have always used Nvidia's installer and have never had an issue. I really don't care if I have to reinstall Nvidia every time the kernel changes, I use that time to check for new drivers anyway.

Debian does maintein contrib and non-free repos (where as fedora doesn't) but yes most pf the community would like down on someone for that

Personnly I value freedom of chioce above freedom of software, but I can say my system is %100 FOSS and i've never had a problem with either the amd/ati or nvidia FOSS drivers, although I don't game.
