What form factor is the Antec MT-350, Proprietary?

We used a few Antec Minuet 300/350 cases here in the shop and I'm having trouble figuring out the form factor of it's power supply. It seems to be proprietary but I'm not totally sure. The MT-350 is discontinued all over the web and eBay is overpriced. Anyone know what power supply replacement would fit this chassis?

Looks like a small form factor design, are you able to throw up a photo with a standard object for scale?

Yeah I am pretty sure that's a small form factor design, for USFF (Ultra Small Form Factor) and SFF (Small Form Factor) PCs.

I thought it was a TFX12V PSU by the look of it, however when I attempted to put a Dell Optiplex 990 Desktop power supply into my Antec case that this MT-350 came out of, the mounting holes were more than a few millimeters off, AND the external dimensions of that Dell PSU did not fit into the PSU slot either.

the 80Plus rating website (which publishes all the PSUs that they test for the certification) shows the Antec MT-350 PSU as an ATX12V power supply, rather than a TFX12V one:

http://www.plugloadsolutions.com/80PlusPowerSuppliesDetail.aspx?id=6&type=2

It also confirms that the Dell PSU from the Optiplex 990 is a TFX type PSU:

Do remember that DELL PSUs are propriety and sometimes their Desktop, SFF, and USFF are also custom sizes as well. thumb.gif

I thought the same thing, until I pulled out my ruler and really started to check the dimensions and layout of the Dell PSU. So far, the D250ED-00 model is spot on for screw placement and external dimenisons. I am not near my MT-350, but I do know that its mounting screw holes were way off.

I am comparing the dimensions using:

Hmmm, interesting. Will check this out at home, thanks. thumb.gif

Going to contact Antec support today. The chassis is only 2 years old. Hopefully the power supply is covered for at least 2 or 3.
