Ordering a Sager NP6110 11.6" Gaming Notebook, is it a good deal?

So I'm getting the Sager NP6110

http://www.sagernotebook.com/index.php?page=product_info&model_name=NP6110

The model ill customize comes with:
  • 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3610QM (2.30GHz) Processor, 6MB L3 Cache
  • Intel® HM76 Express Chipset
  • 16GB - DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (2 SODIMMS)
  • IC Diamond Thermal Compound - CPU + GPU
  • nVidia GT 650M 2048MB PCI-Express GDDR3 DX11 with Optimus
  • 750gb (w/ 8GB SSD Memory) Seagate XT 7200RPM NCQ Hybrid (Serial-ATA III 600 - 32MB Cache)
  • 11.6" HD "Glare Type" Super Clear Bright Glossy Screen (1366x768)

So for all that and a little other nicknaks it'll cost $1201.83.
I really like this little thing, I think its a great deal for the price. Let me know what you think. thumb.gif

Sounds like a great deal ^_^.
The GT650M seem like a good strong GPU http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-650M.71887.0.html
its amazing how powerful a 11.6 Laptop can be now.

Yes I'm quite surprised as to how much you can fit in something so small, its one of the main reasons I'm getting it. rolleyes.gif

It does not look to be as thin or portable as I had hoped.

Don't order directly from the manufacturer. It's better to order from a reseller such as XoticPC.

It looks quite thin, yea not super sleek but I can live with that and its only sitting at less than 4 pounds, that's quite portable compared to other laptops. I quite like the way it look regardless.

Edit: Yes, i'll be ordering from Xotic PC.

if you order from Xotic PC let us know how it turns out! I'm thinking of getting one of these as well.

mostly interested in build quality + HEAT while gaming cause that gpu and cpu inside a 11" chassis seem kinda crazy haha.

Looks awesome biggrin.gif I've been thinking about either getting an Alienware m11x or a Clevo based 11.6" laptop but I think my choice has been made haha. But I have one thing/question isnt that 16gb ram overkill for such a laptop? since I'd rather get 8 gb and invest in a good ssd which would be more of an improvement for performance than the 8 gb extra ram in my opinion. (I could be completely wrong here though) But please keep us updated when you get it biggrin.gif

If possible could you share your thoughts of pros and cons when you get the laptop? I'm looking into this laptop and I'm wondering if it's a good buy! Thanks! thumb.gif
