Thread Starter
What the title says...which should I upgrade to???..I want to goto Ivy bridge but I see MSI is not putting out a bios update for my mobo to allow me to run Ivy...so I was thinking of going to either 2600K or 2700k??

If you don't plan a system upgrade for a while, go for 2700k, if you are going to upgrade in say 6 months to a year, then go 2600k, or just stick with your 2500k.

Im looking this up myself too. I dont see myself going ivy until there is a revision perhaps or just wait till haswell at this point. I want either a 2600k or 2700k and am lucky enough to live near a microcenter. I just want proof that the 2700k will at least ensure 4.8ghz. Currently 2600k is $260 and 2700k $280, I would just hate spending $20 more for a 4.6ghz overclock when almost every 2600k will do it lol.
