Stress Testing

I was watching a video on Newegg earlier and JJ from Asus was talking about overclocking in reference to the new Ivy Bridge. Well he said he doesnt like nor recommend programs like Prime95 for stressing. He talked about a program that he prefers called AIDA64? Has anyone had any use with this program. It it reputable for its ability to stress accurately?

I dont have an Intel processor just referencing. I have a fx6100

AIDA64 is a pretty good program, but i feel its no where near as thorough as Prime 95. And it works practically the same way as Prime 95.

Intel burn test, Linx, Prime 95, they all test in the same way pretty much, and they are the best programs to use for stresstesting. And they are recommended by both intel and AMD for testing CPUs, So i'd listen to their recommendations over a recommendation from some Asus guy.

Sounds like he's one and the same.....Also, you dont go by anything they put on Newegg. Not their videos, nor their user reviews of components.
