Do you install a distro and software for your clients? And if so what? I'm not in that business but I'm curious.

Well as far as distros go, no, not yet. I'm still studying the Linux platform and testing out a video editing program called Cinelerra on Ubuntu 12.04LTS. We load Windows 7 Home/Pro/Ultimate with the programs that the customer asks for such as Adobe products, Avid, 3DS, CAD, etc. We are based in Los Angeles as a small home business for now.

WOW! Thanks for the recommendation!

Looks like this program was funded through some sort of kickstarter called indiegogo and made more than enough money to develop further.

In my opinion, if anything Linux related needs a Kickstarter project, it's gaming on Linux. That's the only thing preventing Linux from becoming mainstream, since it's more than ready for the desktop already.
Maybe do a fundraiser for the WINE project? And maybe have someone encourage larger game firms to compile their games against WineLib so that we can have more Linux-compatible games. Freelance developers working on a Linux port of a game would be a good idea, it shouldn't be that hard - especially for those games that already have Mac support.

IMO, the games on the Mac App Store on OSX (Deus Ex:HR, Batman Arkham Asylum, CODMW4, etc...) should have been in the Steam Store as both a Windows and OSX download for the people who already own those games through steam.

I wouldn't use WINE to get games to Linux. It would be much better in the end run to just port them over properly.
