My first jump into water.

Hello peeps of overclock.net! biggrin.gif
This was my first attempt at watercooling and I have to say I really enjoyed the whole process! The only thing that took a long time was sleeving those cables but I didn't mind it.

I want to thank you guys for all the inspiring builds, great comments/feedback, and of course for being who you are! Which in my opinion, is a whole bunch of badasses who pimp out their rigs like mtv would cars tongue.gif ugh...I realize that could be taken as an insult. MTV sucks. rolleyes.gif

I originally sought out to build a 2011 rig, but finances, changing of jobs, and moving all seemed to get in the way so at the moment this will suffice. I really just wanted to get my feet wet and get something going so I'm pleased with the results for now. The super rig I dream about will happen someday! Certain priorities take over right now but it'll happen. Mark my words....it...will...ok I'm done.

I want to thank Lutro for all the great guides he has out for sleeving and his awesome sleeving tool he made. Without that tool I would have spent a lot more time hunched over my desk, tearing up my fingers! Thanks to Desert Rat(a member of OCN) who sold me the HW Labs SR1 at a steal! I also want to give a shout out to Nils at MDPC, that guy rules.

Well here is the setup and some temps I'm getting:

684

Idle:

338

Load:

338

Nothing extravagant but it's a start. I've always enjoyed building PCs but when I found this website, I fell in love with the customization you can achieve when you put the time, effort, and of course...butt loads of money into it tongue.gif I hope to do an extensive build log when life gets a little less hectic, and I know it will be done here cause this site is the bizniz...yeah I said it. Peace out overclock and thanks for reading this loooong post about a mediocre build compared to some of the awesome ones on here.

Lol I'll get more pics! I swear. I need to clean some things up first...My computer room looks like a bomb went off after I finished the watercooling and sleeving. You should see my wife's face anytime she comes into my dungeon/computer room. It's a mixture between these three I think... blinksmiley.gifweirdsmiley.gifohno-smiley.gif
