GTX 460 Water Block?

Thread Starter
Soon upgrading to either corsair H100 or something similar, or possibly a custom liquid cooling set, I have two GTX 460's cooled on air and am wondering if there are any water blocks that will fit them?

Thanks! will rep for answers

Not sure if you're still looking, but just about most universal waterblocks will fit it, the GTX 460 even has its own full coverage block, google it. I just bought 2 of these cheap ass things, they aren't the most popular, nor the best performing, but I'm about to run 2 of these on 2 GTX 460s parallel in a loop. From what I heard, they kept an 8800 GTS at 40C max load, so I'm taking not too much of a gamble. I'll let you know how it goes.

Please do! Thanks for the input. Curious if they perform better than air cooling even though they're 20 bucks.

Just installed the block. It just barely covers the gpu cabin, but the block its self could use some sanding/lapping, should knock a couple degrees when its tested. I'll post temps once I get this thing running, early next week.

You could buy an Antec Kuhler and mount it on the GPU.

Tons of people have been doing it on various cards:

And this guy will make custom brackets for these types of mods for a fee:

If you have reference GTX460s, the only actual full-cover blocks made for them are done by Koolance and Aquacomputer, so if you want the best all-around cooling for them it'd have to be one of those two blocks. smile.gif
