Holy cow! I can't believe that thing stays on the GPU....only 2 screws? Hopefully you don't overtighten them. See ya GPU! thumb.gif

Your VRM cooling is legit! REPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP+++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hi there guys.

I wonder if I can fit a Corsair H60 CPU cooler to my GTX 460 GPU? The main question is how do I actually mount the bracket on the GPU? Will I have to do some aditional modding to the graphic card or the bracket itself?

Thanks!

Highly doubt this would work, the H60 is meant for cooling processors and is shaped accordingly. If you have a liquid cooling loop I would go for a standard water cooling block, if not I would buy an aftermarket heatsink for the 460 which work great as well.

Use the Antec Kuhler. I posted about this earlier:

Tons of people have been doing it on various cards:

And this guy will make custom brackets for these types of mods for a fee:

Unforchantly my system not liquid cooled, so the water block isn't relevant.

What kind of heatsink are you talking about?

I read your post about that, thank you. But I'm wondering if there is any serious difference (especially with the mounting bracket. I don't mean the performance difference) between the Antec Kuhler and the Corsair H60?

There's two Antec Kuhlers, the 620 and the 920. The 620 is basically an H60 and the 920 is basically an H80 in terms of performance. thumb.gif

The guy also makes brackets for the Corsair Hydro Series so you can go either way you want!
