Need help please Alienware m15x upgrade from 240m - 260m

I just got the 260m gpu for my laptop. It fits and works but one problem.Theheat sink which also puts it in place (Even though its the correct placement of screws) cannot screw in for the holes are about half a mm wider, when I look at my 240m there's a metal strip that lines the inside of the screw placement holes allowing them to be screwed in.

So when I turn on my laptop with the GPU in any slightest of movement causes it to flicker. which is annoying. All screw placements are correct (including the 2 that screw directly into my m15x), however the the heat sink is the main item that keeps it from moving :<<br />
-This card is made for the Alienware m15x-

Has anyone have this issue? and if anyone can help, please help me and thanks.

Is this an upgrade through Alienware/Dell or an outside retailer? Have you tried contacting Dell support?

Given that, can you take the metal strip from the old card and put them into the new one?

Pro Tip: replace the TIM with high quality TIM and it'll drop the temp a lot. I did this to my own m15x and it helped a lot.

High-End laptops like Alienware (Used to be Clevo, not sure anymore), Sager (Clevo), Some MSI and some Asus are fully upgradeable.

Thank you, I was searching for Arctic Silver 5, however the best the retail stores here had were the Arctic Silvers Ceramique, Which I have been using my temps are at a stable 47-49(On idle) and hitting 71-80(While Gaming [Tested while benchmarking BF3 on high and ultra settings]). This GPU has indeed been showing some serious performance and have OC'd it to a stable 640/1570/1000 (CC/SC/MC).
