yup it will black screen at login. last night i was able to get into the desktop, and play a few seconds of skyrim before it would black screen with lines.

sometimes before that it would black screen during boot and reboot.

corrupted bios on the card? or my system?

Corrupted on your card. I bet you could flash a bios from the TPU Vid Bios collection it would work.


**The thing is, you're RMA'ing the card anyways... so if it flashes and works, you might want to end up keeping it if it turns out to overclock well.

Thanks for the reply. Ive meet flashed a graphics card bios before... So I wouldn't even know where to start haha. Good suggestion though. Issued RMA with newegg instead of XFX

If you could link somewhere to where I could flash it with some instructions I'd give it a shot! But it may be pointless

I didn't see a BE bios, but if you ask around you could get one from another BE owner.
