I think this case should be really quiet, and it looks like it should cool well too with 2x12cm intake, but I have some concerns.

I cant find any pics showing how big of an area the spot for the PSU is, and if there is something that would possibly be blocking space needed to fit a 9 inch PSU. So does anyone have / seen this case in person and know how the PSU fits in??

Also, does anyone know how that 120mm exhaust fan would work. I have a big typhoon and to me it looks like that metal thingy might hit the top of the big typhoon, unless its on a hinge that moves but I cant see from the picture. Surely their is something like this in some other lian li's, anyone know of how it works and what it does?

edit:
I googled it, its got a weird, but interesting airflow design. Doesnt look like the best for high heat components, but when I get my VF900's on my videocards, I might consider getting it.

If anyone has any thoughts on why I shouldnt get it, or can recommend a quieter, better case with similar look, please do so.

Thats a pretty slick case it seems like it is bare but it has a lot also I dunno. But it also looks like the PSU will fit all the way back to that opening so it shouldnt be a problem. Looks like they seperated the PSU from the rest?

Also another case to look at is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129154. You can remove the lower fan and move it up top so it will fit your PSU.

Do you know if the PSU cage in the p180 is removable? If I could remove that cage, it looks like the 9 inch PSU would fit, but I didn't think I would be able to screw it in without that cage.

And yeah, I think the design of that lian li super silent is having all 120's as intake, and using the PSU and the 80mm at the top as exhaust. It's really strange.

I dont see why not but would like that clarified by some P180 users first. There is also a black version.

I think I found an awesome case, very similar to the P180, but with newer, and cooler features.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811112121

dual PSU on the bottem, 4x120mm fans, 7 5.25inch drive bays, 5 3.5 inch drive bays, and looks sleek.

Check out the P190..... I vote P180 for the cost and such. I mean, just drop the extra money on a bigger PSU and I think the PSU would win.

I have read some reviews on this case and it does well. However the P180 is still MUCH quieter then many other cases out there.

I couldnt find any silent zalman case that u suggested. I looked at the p190, but im more in favor of the sleek silver design, with no big vents to let noise out.

I think my choice will come down to
the Lian Li PC-A10

vs the

Antec Performance P180

Theyre both so similar its hard to choose.

My feeling is that the lian li should cool better, can control fan speeds, the layout is nicer + more roomy, and will be still be a big improvement on noise compared to my TT armor w/side fan. The antec, will probably be supierior in noise, but I'll never know by how much. And I still need to confirm that you can use a big PSU in a p180, and that it will still be able to screw in with that cage removed (if u can remove the psu cage, that is)

The P180 is a quality and quiet case.

There is no cage for the PSU, merely a padded braket to hold the PSU in place. I have an Antec Neo 550 that fits nicely in the case. Only the 2 HDD cages (1 upper chamber, 1 lower chamber) are removable.

The only 2 issues with the P180 (IMO) 1: No filter on the airbox intake. 2) Poor options for wire management (hiding)

Otherwise: Man! I love it....simple, clean, sohisticated, sexah!

Forgot to mention. If you are going to use a Zalman CNPS9500 then you will only be able to orient the HSF toward the rear. If you are using a tower cooler like the Noctua 120 then you will have to orient toward the blowhole. To do otherwise requires an airbox mod (shorten by 1" - I had to.) Or you could omit the airbox.
