What up OCN,
Many of you have asked me about binning chips for you. Well with Sandy it's not all that easy, it's more like the lottery. After buying and overclocking around 50+ 2500k's, I had a real nice one that I was running for a while, listed in the Sandy Stable Club at 5ghz 1.392v Load 15hrs Prime95 Blend stable with temps under 60c, 58c on the hottest core with controlled water. Well, if you thought that was a great chip which it was, you haven't seen nothing yet. This new one I dropped in a media server a couple nights ago is by far the most impressive chip I've seen on SB. I could leave this in the server and not worry about much as the results are simply amazing. Temps more unbelievable then running on water with most chips and I'm using nothing more than a Hyper 212+ on it with just the stock fan and only 1, BUT I don't think this is the right home for such a chip. I'm thinking this need to go into the hands of those that would want a so called "binned" chip.
What this chip has done so far is 4.5ghz 1.150v load with max temps of around 56c hottest core.
Also 4.8ghz 1.272v load max temps of 66c 2hrs Prime95 Blend. Here's the pic's

5ghz 1.300v 66c max core Hyper 212+ with 72f ambient

Ok SP1 Installed and testing. Here's the same run at 4.8ghz 1.272v max temp 68c hyper 212

Now we're pushing the hyper 212 to it's max comfort zone and my personal comfort on temps, but 5ghz 1.352v (1.350 in bios) hitting 81c with 72f ambient is still dame good for a $20 air cooler. This chip would be fine all day 24/7 on this setup.

Let me know what you think
