I am talking about Z77A-GD65 on my test bench now, soon going to replace my main rig which has Z68A-GD65. Both boards do NOT have offset voltage control.

Guys, do these boards allow you to manually choose between UEFI and legacy boot modes? My previous mobo went bad, and my HDs have been formatted using GPT (which requires UEFI boot) instead of MBR (which uses legacy).

I'm using the 10.7 for about a week now, still managed to get my OC back at 4.8GHz at the same voltages without stability problems. Other than that this bios feels smoother, for example when I turn the PC on after a forced shut down I don't have the 5 seconds delay anymore till it actually turnes on and restart seems a bit faster as well.

Is that overclock using auto vcore? Would you mind posting screenshots of your BIOS settings?

Not sure how to post screenshots from the uefi, anyway it's manually set to 1.3200 vcore, turbo, eist, ppl overvolt enabled, digital compensation - high. Ram is on it's xmp default profile (2x4GB 2133, cl11, cr1 ) voltage. Everything else is pretty much on auto. As for stability, it ran prime 95 blend for 3-4 hours and 20 runs of lynix and it's ok. It might not be 100% stable, but for gaming and benchmarking it's solid.

Also my msi z77 is the GD65.

just ordered a gd55 on amazon for 144$ with overnight shipping. my asrock z77 pro4 **** the bed. has been causing freezing and crashing and now audio output completely died. got the board overnighted for 4$ !! will install tomorrow, hope this is a solid board. it was a toss up between the gd45, gd55 and gigabyte z77x-ud3h but opted for the gd55 cause it was 15$ cheaper than the gigabyte and the board looked more solid than the gd45. seems there was a lot of blank space on the PCB of the gd45 without text or any circuits... just blank plastic space??? better quality heatsinks around the cpu too it seems. either or, hope this board kicks ass! i keep a mild overclock on my 3570k of 4ghz

Insert a USB stick, go into BIOS and click the screenshot icon in the top right where my mouse cursor is in the screenshot:

just got done the install (gd55), updated all drivers and installed software etc. all i can say is WOW

the board feel much sturdier and heavy duty just holding it physically. I really like the quality of the board. the features are awesome too. i love this bios and even the clickbios and control center software from in windows. super sexy layout and pretty much all the features i need. OC genie put me right to 4.2ghz but i decided to drop to 4.0 since i dont need the extra power or heat. really digging the live update too! searched for mb drivers, bios, VGA DRIVERS AND BIOS*** (cool). super stoked with this purchase and pretty happy my asrock started dying out. only thing i wasnt a fan of was the usb3.0 port on the MB. it made it hard to put the wires in given the sideways port and where the wire holes are on the corsair r500. also the blue led lights were super annoying and blurred my white led to blue so i had to turn them off, but was super easy from in windows!

5/5. really like this board, now i gotta go back in this thread and look into some of the settings to change things if i need in the future, but very happy with how easy the bios set up everything. and given that i really dont need overclocks for my main use i'll just let OC genie leave it at 4.0ghz.

got this board for 144$ shipped overnight on amazon. 100% worth the money, I would not ever recommend asrock again after seeing this board and its features.
