Didn't the CEO at the unveiling mention that the 10-phase design could be OC'd quite nicely?

The announcement has to be something to do with another market. Maybe in the realm of mobile-GPUs. It can't be big Kepler already though, so soon to the release of the 600s. That would basically be the same as saying "don't buy our products on the market now, save your money for the real monster", which I doubt the CEO of a company would do.

I vantz my GK110 before AMD releases the 8000 series. It would suck to get smashed between waiting for the 700 series, buying the 8000 series, or getting GK110.

Early rumors and reviews pointed to June for a GK110 sighting/release. Takes about six months to correct the heat issues and respin.
May 15 is a good date and aligns with the rumors. GK104s are in tight supply, nV needs another chip to sell.

Now I'm not sure if I should pull the trigger on the 690 wubsmiley.gif IF I should get so lucky or wait. I highly doubt it will be GK110 384 bit thinking.gif, but now I'm second guessing. hmmsmiley02.gif

I have a feeling it's just the 680 4GB version being released.

What to do what to do? headscratch.gif

Or just that they have signed up with Samsung to supply the next series chips for GK110 in December. wink.gif

It wont be 690 cause it's been already revealed and it won't be 670*660.

15 of May is Nvifia's GPU Tech Conference and nobody there cares for gaming parts, so it will have something to do with computing.

Well, 690 is already announced, priced at 1000 USD. If they came out with anything better, it would have to be more expensive. Otherwise the 690 would not sell. But the $1000+ market must be tiny, so I'm guessing a midrange kepler card, maybe several.
