Time to upgrade?

Hey, I am currently running i7 - 950 @ 3.6, hoping to get it to 4.0 soon.

i7 - 950 @ 4
12 GB @ 1833
60 GB SSD
200 GB Raptor
2 TB HDD
Noctua 14
GTX 680 - light OC

Was wondering if I will be fine with another GTX 680 added on my 750W PSU?

Yeah, a 750w (granted it being a reputable PSU) will handle that. Most calculators will tell you otherwise though... I have x3 hard drives and a 580 on my 850 and the fan doesn't even kick on except for when my CPU puts out to much heat. thumb.gif

That's what I am using. And yeah, I made a thread because the calculator tells me I shouldn't try.

Any decent 750W unit will comfortably deal with such a setup... and yours is an excellent one.

What he said, that PSU won't even sweat...

..Which is a good thing because if PSUs are sweating, your not water cooling correctly... rolleyes.gif

I'd want an 850W PSU myself thinking.gif

An 850 for x2 680's is just plain overkill. The only reason I have a 850 is because it makes it more efficient than a 750 with the same load. Barely.
