Amazon's Kindle Fire now makes up the absolute majority of the Android tablet platform in the US, comScore found in a fresh study. The e-reader and tablet crossover represented 54.4 percent of all Android tablets sold in the country. At second place, the entire Samsung Galaxy Tab lineup comprised just 15.4 percent of Android slates.

This makes me happy. biggrin.gif I'm lovin' my Fire with ICS. Things will get hectic though when Apple releases their 7in. tablet.

And I remember people saying Kindle was going to be killed by Android.

Also, shock horror...Apple was completely right about something! I distinctly remember Steve saying 7inch is too small and that 10 inch is the minimum necessary (Ironically completely not commenting on the iPhones tiny screen) for a tablet.

See I SWOOOOOORE I wanted/needed an Ipad.

I'm a youth pastor and every week I prepare a 20 minute sermon. Having a tablet for my notes seemed like a great idea rather than having paper notes. I could walk around with it without it being as distracting as paper ect.

I went to best buy and tried to hold an ipad like i was teaching from it.... It was just impossible. The dang thing was great to look at but I just couldn't see myself holding it for an extended period or time.

I grabbed the kindle fire and it just fit like a glove. i could hold it in one hand without my fingers feeling like they were either going to break or that i would drop the tablet.

7 inches is just a really nice size for what I needed.

However, anytime I'm not using it for teaching I wish it were larger lol.

In other news.... How is that ICS? Have they managed to make it stable enough with video support ect? Last I checked a month ago they had a lot of stuff not working.

7in is such a great size...but the lowest I'd go for resolution would be 800x1280. I got my eye sighted on the infinity though. 1200x1920...perfect.

I was shocked by this though...that's a lot...
