Do you know how long it will take before a battery pack will have to be replaced? Ipod batteries take 2 years before they have to be replaced.

There will be a hack available to replace the batteries or charging unit. i would be alot more worried about the machine itself.

Why would anyone care so much about this! It will probably be years before the battery dies and no longer becomes rechargable. A new controller every few years...boo hoo...

your crazy, you obviously don't take care of your things. When i'm playing a game i don't want to press really hard on the button to get it to go, i like the dual shocks sensitivity. The analogue sticks are nice and the size of the controller is perfect. The first xbox controllers were liek a frigin brick, you couldn't even reach half the buttons without it being extremely uncomfortable.

Dual shock > xbox (controller wise)

I have a ps1 and a ps2, 6 controller on the ps2 and a multitap and none of it has ever broken. EVER. I got them all the week after the ps2 came out.
