Zowie AM-GS Broken

Thread Starter
My Zowie AM-GS began to malfunction, mouse1/3/4 activate randomly and render the mouse unusable. I tried plugging and replugging/switching DPI/different computers to no avail. The mouse is a little over a month old and was purchased from Amazon. Has anyone had this problem?

Edit: Zowie RMA has finally responded and am sending in my mouse

Their support has always been poor for me as well. I went through a few AMs all had problems. Luckily I bought mine from a re-seller as Zowie always took around 10 days to get back to me rolleyes.gif

Hey, I had the same problem. Don't even try to get help from the support, they are highly incompetent and will just ignore you when they notice they won't be able to help you. I got help on this forum. I went into the BIOS settings and deactivated USB legacy support. Here is my thread http://www.overclock.net/t/1249592/zowie-am-does-not-work-on-my-computer

Most of my problems are fixed, though today I noticed that the side buttons still activate themselves when I perform certain movements with my mouse. It's a great mouse otherwise, but I won't recommend it to anyone or would buy it again because of all the problems I had with it.

I blame the switchs, I saw also a command from guy who said that after some time of usage with the mouse you can press hold, the click releasing itself.
7N is a ******* minimum man, even steelseries uses them with most of thier products.

Was in a store today and there was the SS Diablo III mouse. The buttons have short travel and are tactile and light to click. Good stuff.

I had this problem too. I somehow start to believe its not the mouse itself that causes the problems, but rather it not being useable with some USB ports.

Its the mouse in my case. I have plugged it into three computers with the same effect. I have tried enabling/disabling legacy support without a change.

Well. A lot of users got some kind of problems with Zowie AM switches including me. In my AM scroll button broke down after 2 months of usage. Sometimes it registers multiple clicks instead of one, and sometimes none. I wanted to RMA it but they told me to send my old mouse to Portugal. The transportation cost would be above 35$ which is a lot.
Before I bought first Zowie product everyone convince me how good is zowie quality compared to razer. In my case Zowie AM broken down after 2 months and Razer DA still works flawless after 6 long years.
