It does take a bit of getting used to. For doors, you aim toward the door and then scroll up when you see a open-door-like animation pop up then hit "open door". As far as being zombie free, you cannot run around and expect to not be seen. Unless you're in the woods, you need to be crouch running (Hit X to crouch) or walking (hold down shift while crouching or running). If there's zombies nearby and you really don't want to aggro, you can go prone and they generally won't see you even if you're pretty close. But standing up and running they will see you half the town away. Stay low and you'll survive. If you aggro and don't want to shoot, then just stand up and run in between buildings and you should be able to lose the zeds.

After our unlucky streak today with losing all of our vehicles and most of our gear, our server went down and we started over on another server. After running toward the NW Airfield from where I logged I found someone else's camp with about 8 tents and a bus. Must've been a large party, even though they didn't have any halfway decent gear in their tents. I think we only took the bus, 1 wheel and about 2 morphine.

Looted the NW Airfield for over an hour with another 5 clan mates, we killed a total of over 1,000 zombies.





Hopefully we can find some more GPS' tomorrow.

Night time = noone on the server = zombies don't spawn near the none existence people

AKSU Kobra or AKM? AKM is more powerful right? But I do like the sight on the kobra....Not sure which to pick up. I passed the AKSU for the AKM tonight because I had more ammo for it. Which is better though?

AKM is 1 shot 1 kill anywhere.

Was your bus on the deathkorps clan server? Location approximate 107 102 on the dayzdb.com map? xd

Flash man you missed some night time fun we had. Asunic took a couple of guys out at 300 yards with a akm ( he had the only nvg's ) We also got ambushed by a player ( he killed HIdig ) and broke my legs and crap but we were close to med tents so we were able to fix me Lucky becase I now have a M14 with like 10 dmr mags to go with it.

On zombies, not on players

This is true, even headshots with the DMR will usually take a few seconda to kill someone...
