How I feel when a player sneaks past me:

So when you have to install something manual you will know how to do it encase a update breaks your game.
1) Not all mods use Six Launcher
2)Sometimes the updates are a hit and miss like when they pushed out a new build that was not supposed to be released alot of players could not play because they did not know how to revert manually
3) The latest beta patch builds are not always the best for the mod you are wanting to play.
4) Like the guy somewhere in the of posts above me said the brain is a good tool to use in remembering your fav servers but I will admit have a favorites list in the ingame browser would be nice but they chose not to so just use day z commander, it wont touch your files I think so no chance of the program screwing it up.

Dayz commander also checks for beta and mod updates. You can choose to update or not.

I have steam overlay with 6updater but having favorites and recently played sounds great.

I prefer single click game update instead of the exciting task of clicking a couple folders and dragging files.

I appreciate your philosophy, but you're not being practical.

The time saved using a mod manager could be spent elsewhere. I.e. actually playing the game, or life in general.

When it comes down to installing mods manually, you're right, it's not hard. But doing a manual installation when a competent automatic alternative exists is simply retarded.
