So.. A force update on our server just happend. To dayz 1.7.2.4 which I cant find yet. And a beta patch 95312 which I also cant find yet..
Let the waiting game begin.

EDIT: Just my retard mate who changed the name to 1.7.2.4 so it hasnt updated tongue.gif

I haven't been on today to know about the 1.7.2.4 patch, but yesterday I saw servers with beta 95312. I just *favorite servers and update when they do.

Not as much as Battlefield, but yes it does. I had a 107 .50cal and took forever to kill 2 Survivors.

Well it's got ballistics based off their real world counterparts, so yes it has bullet drop.

Why were you sniping with an M107 if you couldn't hit them? It is a guaranteed one hit kill to any part of the body... remember that you need to estimate range and zero to it if you want to hit anything wink.gif

Also, anyone have better ideas for finding food? Me and a buddy spent our whole day yesterday trying to find supplies/food. We went through 4-5 high value residentials, 3-4 high value Barns(farm), and 2 medium value barns(farm) + 2 low value residentials. Out of all of that we didn't find a single can of food or a box of matches (because I had 3 pieces of meat from a pig).

Since then, he's died from starvation and I'm on the brink of death respawning in a building hoping I might find a can of food to continue my journey.

Supermarkets. I don't even bother looking for food elsewhere... if you need it look in them(preferably the isolated ones).

No knife to cut the meat of an animal you kill? Try to get to Cherno or something, lots of Zombies, but LOTS of gear. Got tons of food and bandages, 1 makarov + 7 mags, 1 lee enfield + 4 mags, and other stuff. All in 2 or 3 places in elektro I think

If you don't want to share locations PM me, but what isolated supermarkets? My friend who died spawned near electro and went to that supermarket but got shot.

I got the meat from a pig I killed, used a hunting knife, and got the meat. However, I didn't have any means to start a fire so the meat taunts me in my inventory as I'm dying of starvation. Sadly, there isn't a supermarket near my current location.....or at least I won't make it long enough to get to one.
