was playing with my 13 day survivor character, me and my cousin, and friend had a car stashed up with tons of equipment, weapons, gear etc etc. thought we would go pickup another dude of us who died in the same server with the car, since it was night time, i had night vision i thought i'd drive the car with no lights to electro and pick him up, as we arrived i saw electro burning as you see in the pictures, it was completely dark and i was able to see with no night vision cuz it was so bright. got closer and saw it was all in flames, we pick up our friend and leave asap. headed to the airfield thought it would be empty... as soon as we stopped we got bombarded i died and my cousin almost died he was down to 350 blood or something. glad i had others to back us up.

but i still died QQ

It's really lame for casual players like myself. But ya know, since they can't be stored off the map anymore I guess I'll just have to walk the edge and claim their hard work as my own bike.gif

off topic: BGKris, I love your avatar. It makes me laugh every time I see it.

Back on topic:

When you find what looks to be a broken down vehicle is there a way to tell what it needs to be fixed? Or do you have to just have parts in your inventory and use your scroll wheel?

Go to the vehicle, if you can scroll your mouse wheel and get something like 'Get is as driver' og passenger or something like that it can be fixed.
Next get in as driver, just sit there dont start the engine or anyhting. In the top left corner you can see some things. Engine Fuel Wheel and one other thing. Those that are red needs to be fixed those that are green are all good. You then need to get the items into your inventory and fix them with the scroll menu on the vehicle, note that it can be hard to find the right menu, as some vehicles have a sweet spot where the menu can be found.
You usually need more than 1 wheel to fix a car, sometimes up to 4. Trucks have more though wink.gif
The vehicle can drive without hull and with the engine at red, but it is not recommended as it can go 'boom' quite easy.

Oh yea, and you need jerry cans. They spawn full, and can be filled at the big gas tanks found around barns and the airfields, not by the Petrol stations, unless it has one of these tanks out back.

Every petrol station has a usable gas tank. You just need to find the right angle to look at them and have to be at the right end to use it. The smaller gas tanks at barns are just a lot easier to use.

I've yet to see one that hasn't, and I've been to most of the map. We normally stop at them just to keep the tanks full. Never know when you might get into a car chase where you don't want to be the ones who need to stop to grab fuel out of the trunk.

Did that once, chased down a group that was using a bus by following them until they ran out of gas. Since we had our Military Offroad and that thing has absurd range, we were never in danger of running out, but when they ran out of gas and slowed to a stop... Luckily we had scrap metal to repair the extensive damage to the side of the bus lol.

Well some of the real small ones doesnt, all I know is that we stopped trying to use petrol stations, we just keep and eye on our GPS, the tanks next to barns are showed there as smaller brown rectangle.

We usually just take a trip past NE airfield before doing anything then quickly loot it and fill our stuff.

BTW choppers are back yet, they need all clients and servers to run the new patch before enabling them. frown.gif
Then again, might be good since we still need a rotor assembly. biggrin.gif

Sounds good. Hop on the TS server whenever, there's almost always people on there.

It really depends, but we mainly play at night. Last night we played until 4:00 a.m EST, mainly just messing around down south near Elektro and Cherno, looking for vehicles. If you hop on TS, there's usually a few people on playing.
