no, you don't understand, i mean i'd be sitting on top of a hill or a tall building sniping random players all day long

And then you'd be classed as a bandit!
And we can kill you

Plenty of people do this already.

Only way to get yourself banned is hacking.

Hmm they're either working on the site, or its down from massive flooding/popularity lol...

Wonder where you guys found the assault & sniper rifles. People even fixed couple helicopters & cars.
I just bandage myself every 10 mins if not kill by friendly players

I have been a Huge fan of these "Zombie Survivals" Now I have a good reason to buy ARMA 2

Ah the child-like minds. You wouldn't get banned from the server, you can kill all the survivors you want to. You'll then be marked as a bandit =)

Here is a little story about bandits. When you're a bandit your skin is a specific model, also when you kill someone your humanity drops. This will make it take much longer to become a survivor again. What's the big deal though right? You're just going to lose some stupid points, right? Wrong.

Once you turn into a bandit you're going to get shot at by every survivor in the game, mainly because they'll fear you will try to kill them right off the bat. When they kill you, they don't lose humanity, they're rewarded with a bandit kill. They can freely loot your body and take all your items you collected.

"I'll just find them and take it back". Not likely, once you die there is a good chance you'll spawn 30-40 minutes (real time) from your body. There is the off chance you'll be near your death location, but it's rare. By the time you get back to where you died, your body will be looted and they'll be long gone. On top of this, it's hard to get a bandit gang going as just about everyone is willing to stab each other in the back.

Everyone is on-edge in this game, even the people I play with. 3 of us were checking out the airfield and I spotted a survivor with a bandit behind him. We ended up killing both because we couldn't trust a guy hanging out with a bandit.
