Question:
I picked up a spare lee enfield with 2 ammo and put it into my spare backpack (alice). I went to give it to my friend but didn't know how to. So I decided to drop my primary gun and then move the one from my alice bag to my equip. However, once i dropped my primary it dropped my 3-4 ammo in my main inventory and all of it disappeared. So I had to keep my spare enfield from my alice bag and now only had 2 ammo for it.

So how does one give a teammate a spare weapon that is in your spare backpack?

Go up to their pack and open it. You can open other peoples packs.

So he should've dropped his primary and opened my back and equipped it that way?

Yes. Remember if you come across an unarmed player, and you have a weapon with ammo in your bagback, dont let them get near you. They can seem friendly, and in the next minute have your gun in their hands and kill you.

If you have the room you don't need to drop anything, otherwise yea. Items disappearing on the ground is just a bug, where they fall through the floor. I usually find a road or something, flat usually, before dropping anything.

I agree, once you find a grocery store you're absolutely set. Every fresh spawn I try to get to cherno to the med tents then to the grocery store before heading north. Every time there's been an abundance of food, and usually corpses of some sort.

a friend just found a gillie suit at a chopper crash site. when he wore it there is a pile of "Civilians clothings" in his inventory now, does that mean he can switch back and forth from the gillie suit to civilian and back?
